The Indy 500 this year will be racing on Sunday 23rd August. This will be the 103rd running of the race.

Schedule

In the days and weeks leading up to the Indy 500 there are a number of additional events, including obviously all the practice and qualifying races.

This year the schedule includes:

12-14 August: Indianapolis 500 practice

15-16 August: Crown Royal Armed Forces Qualifying

21 August:  Miller Lite Carb Day

22 August: Legends Day presented by Firestone
